David Keith Armstrong passed away peacefully at his home in Balch Springs on July 17, 2015. He was born in Dallas, Texas on May 5, 1952 to Travis Irving Armstrong and Mary Bridewell Armstrong. He is preceded in death by his parents, his uncle Robert Bridewell and his four legged child, “Little Man Armstrong”. Left with fond memories to cherish are his loving wife of 25 years, Linda Armstrong, son Daniel Armstrong, stepson Carl Thomas, step grandson Fletcher Thomas, step grandson Everett Thomas, uncle Buck Bridewell, numerous cousins and other family loved ones and beloved friends. David faithfully served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed yard work and love flowers. He clearly loved his wife and enjoyed time with family. David also liked to fish. Other interest included writing a book and music and playing musical instruments. He had been a drummer in a rock and roll band. David was loved very much and will be greatly missed.
