Charles Herbert Wright

Charles Herbert Wright of Seagoville, Texas went home to the Lord on April 21, 2015. He was born in Lake Village, Arkansas on April 20, 1938 to Otha Lee and Lola Ruth Wright. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Leroy, Bill & Gene and his sister Mary Ruth. Left with treasured memories to cherish are his loving and devoted wife of nearly 58 years, Dorothy “Dot”, son Charles H. Wright Jr., daughter Phyllis L. Root, daughter Marlys J. Isbell & husband David, grandchildren Kyle, Katie and Ethan, brother Sonny Wright & wife Beth, sister Nell Finch & husband James and numerous other family loved ones and beloved friends. Charles was a man of great integrity. He was a deacon for many years at Rylie Church of Christ in Dallas. Charles always wore his cowboy hat and boots. He owned several businesses in and around the Seagoville and Kemp area for many years. Charles enjoyed hunting and fishing. He liked to travel and was proud of the fact that he had traveled to all 50 states. Charles was especially proud of his family. He loved them all very much and spoiled them rotten. Many family functions and holidays were held at Charles and Dot’s home where he could surround himself with all of his loved ones. He will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends at a visitation 6-8pm. Friday April 24, 2015 at the funeral home. Funeral Service will be 2:00pm Saturday April 25, 2015 at Roselawn Funeral Home, Seagoville, Texas. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens were Charles will be laid to rest beside other family love ones in The Garden of Roses.
