Bobby Elmo Patterson

Bobby Elmo Patterson, of Eustace, Texas, passed away on September 21, 2022, in Plano, Texas. He will always be remembered as a loving and devoted father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, to all that knew and loved him. He was born on January 29, 1945, in Waxahachie, Texas.

Bobby was a jokester. Always ready with a funny story, he loved to make people laugh. His family loved to hear the tales about the trouble he and his siblings would get into as kids. He was a simple man who wanted nothing more than to be with his family and make his almost daily trips to Hernandez Restaurant for his fajita fix. Bobby fiercely loved his family. He loved to brag about his kids and later his grandchildren. His greatest joy in life was being a PawPaw. He used every opportunity to tell his grandkids how proud he was of them and how much he loved them.

Bobby is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Bobby Keith Patterson and Samantha Smith of Royse City, Texas; his daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Mike Jones of Waxahachie, Texas; his daughter-in-law, Renee Reese of Eustace, Texas; his grandchildren: Nathan Patterson of Eustace, Texas; Taylor Reese and Estrella Villanueva of Eustace, Texas; Hailey Jo Patterson, of Eustace, Texas; and Allison Hutchins of Waxahachie, Texas; his sister Helen Daniels of Lawrence, Kansas; his brother Cliff Wiggins of Tool, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Patterson; his parents, Ruth Weikle and Bobby Jack Wiggins; and his brother, Dennis Patterson.

The Memorial Service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Payne Springs, Texas. A reception to follow at Hernandez Mexican Restaurant in Eustace, Texas.
