With our heavenly father, Susan has joined her parents LaVoy Miller and Norman Riggs, and siblings Norman Clyde Riggs and Jacaranda Brookes. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Richard Kopp, daughter, Melodee Gates, and brother, Rick Riggs.
Susan was an incredibly loving and generous woman who loved people, especially her family. We all felt comfortable in her presence…never judged, always accepted as we were. She made her mark in this world by helping others in any way she could. She loved her daughter, Melodee, more than anything in the world, and was joined at the hip with her loving husband, Richie. She had a particular joy for pets and children, and took in all as her own.
Always the life of the party, Susan loved singing karaoke and socializing. She always looked amazing with the best hair in the room. In fact, her favorite way of giving back was cutting and coloring the hair of her family and friends. We all knew Susan had stopped by for a visit when her “hair accessory bag” was in the room.
Susan has blessed us all with her vivacious personality, generosity, and memories that we will share for a lifetime.
A funeral service for Susan will be held Friday, March 26, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery, 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, Arizona 85257.
