Robert James Meighan, 75 of Phoenix, passed away on February 9, 2012. He was born in New Hampton, Iowa and has been a resident of Arizona for the past 50 years. Robert is a member of the Masonic Paradise Valley Silver Trowel Lodge #29 and served with the mounted patrol in the El Zaribah Shrine.
Robert is survived by his loving wife Joan; daughter, Kim; grandson, Zachary; and sisters Dorothy, Beverly and Connie and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday at Green Acres Mortuary, 401 N. Hayden Rd., Scottsdale. Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, February 14, 2012, 1:00 PM at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 3539 E. Stanford Dr., Paradise Valley, AZ. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014 or to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church.
