Paula Trevino

Paula Trevino age 93, our much beloved mother, grandmother, friend and mother-in-law, left this Earth on November 6, 2022 in Globe, Arizona with her daughter Dorothy Orr, son-in-law Don, her son Bill Fabok and his wife Glinda Fabok by her side.

Paula was born in Yugoslavia February 1st, 1929 and was raised by her godparents. She immigrated to America as a young woman of 17 with her six-week-old son and small daughter by her side, along with her first husband Rudy Fabok. She had four more children from that marriage. She taught herself how to speak and read English. She divorced her first husband and supported her family, working as a waitress. She then met Rick Trevino, her second husband, in Chicago and had two more beautiful children. They moved to Arizona where she worked for the same company cleaning the office and some of the staff's personal homes for over 30 years. At the age of 83 she finally retired from the office and kept up one home to clean and finally retired at the age of 88. She moved to Roosevelt, Arizona to be near her two sons and other family.

She is preceded in death by her eldest son Karole Fabok, and oldest daughter Ava Brown. Her husband Rick Trevino also preceded her and was waiting for her in Heaven. Her surviving children include David Fabok, William Fabok, Shirley Patterson, Dorothy Orr, Rick Trevino and Carmen Mingione; 18 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.

A Visitation for Paula will be held Friday, November 18, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Green Acres Mortuary, 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85257.

The family would like to thank all of the Cobre Valley Hospital staff and doctors for the care and gentleness you showed her. She loved all of you.
