76, of Scottsdale, AZ passed peacefully on Jan. 7, 2015 in Phoenix, AZ. She was born May 27, 1938 in Mexico City to George ad Margarita Olbert, attended the American High School in Mexico City, received her Bachelors and Masters degrees from Arizona State University, and taught for over 20 years in the Scottsdale Unified School District. Upon retirement and the death of her second husband, she volunteered for, sang in the choir of, and developed many close friendships through her church, Prince of Peace. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Mark Wooden (Ginny); her daughter, Lorelei Jean Kaczmarski; her sister, Patricia Staples; her step daughters, Susan Coury and Nancy Hartman; five grandchildren, Jason, Jennifer, Matthew, Kendra, and Kevin; two step-granddaughters, Veronica and Andrea; five great grandchildren; four nieces and nephews, and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her husbands' Curtis D. Wooden and Mathew A. Hartman; her sister Elizabeth Ann (Betsy) Noice; and her parents. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church General Fund or a charity of the donor's choice. A "Celebration of Life" memorial will be held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 3641 North 56th Street, Phoenix, AZ, at 2:00pm, Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015. www.greenacresmortuary.net
