LaVerne Flora (Gates) Lawson, 92, of Mesa, Arizona passed away April 5, 2019. LaVerne was born in Alto Pass, Illinios to Della and Ewing George Gates. She had moved to Arizona in 1959, where she worked and retired from Motorola. LaVerne is survived by her children, Jerry Lawson and Cheryl Bradbury (Gregory Bradbury); daughter-in-law, Jacque Lawson; grandchildren, Chadron Engelman, Nicolle Lawson, Sarah Hyland (David Hyland), and Bruce Bradbury (Autumn Bradbury); and four great grandchildren, Lauren Hyland, Michael Hyland, Lillian Lawson, and Avalon Bradbury. LaVerne will be placed to rest in her hometown at Alto Pass Cemetery (County Road 1105 E Alto Pass, IL 62905).
