John James Reed Jr.

John J. Reed, Jr. “Junior” “JR” joined his precious bride Doris (Zaturski) in eternal life. He was a cherished husband, Daddy, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many. John is survived by his children: John (Harriet), Linda Stone (deceased)(Barry deceased), Joseph (Gail(deceased)) (Lynn Bible), Lori (Michael LaMarca), Barbara Zalewski (Tad deceased), David, Susan Sebastian (Mark) and Amy Nickle (Rick). He is also survived by his sister Yolanda “Junie” Schleper (Richard “Lanky” deceased). Loved brother-in-law of Joanne Wagner (Robert “Bobby” (both deceased)) and Irene Zaturski (deceased). Awesome grandfather to: Angela Morway (Chris), Melissa D’Souza (Sunil), Joseph Reed (Erika), Haley Thorley (EJ), Noah Zalewski and Nathan Reed. Great grandfather to Clara, Everett, Jude and Samuel Morway, Harrison and Phoebe D’Souza, Olivia and Nova Reed, and Blake Zalewski. Cherished uncle to the Wagner, Schleper and Dishmon/Polakiewicz families, and extended family Dan Valerino (Serina), Megen Myers (Matt) and Brooklyn Myers. Mr. Reed served in the US. Army during the Korean Conflict.

Memorial gathering at 11 AM on Monday, May 22, 2023, at Green Acres Mortuary, 401 N. Hayden Road, Scottsdale, Arizona 85257. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at a later time.
