Dorothy Mae Owen, 92, passed away on Dec. 16, 2012. Born on September 22, 1920 in Stigler, Oklahoma, she was the only child o fElias Henry and Mary Dora Orr. She moved with her parents to Phoenix in 1937. and graduated from Phoenix Union High School in 1939. She married Ellis Rhys Owen in 1940 and had two sons that she nurtured through life. She retired from Motorola as a production supervisor in 1974. She is pre-deceased by her husband and is survived by her sons, Michael (Chris) and Dennis (Jan), five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Visitation 9 - 10 AM Friday, December 21, 2012, at Green Acres Mortuary, 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85257, where services will be held at 10:00 AM.
