Did a google search for names of old friends, when I found Dave's obituary,  I knew David M. Wood in 1958/59  --   it is typical for people to say nice things about anyone that has passed   -- I would like to say that reading the comments in his obituary sure sounded just like the nice young man I knew back in the 50's.. Also would like to thank the family for putting the picture of Dave with his M G in the video, he was proud of that car,  quite a change from the 56' Buick he had when I first met him,  sorry to read that family and friends loss David so young, I know he will be missed by many people.

Dear Pam and family,

Larry and I are very saddened to hear of Dave's passing. He always had a smile on his face, was willing to help out, and showed kindness and respect to everyone. I had the opportunity to work with Dave for many years in Scottsdale City Hall. He made a significant contribution to our community and we will surely miss him. You are in our prayers Pam.

Pam, it was the greatest surprise to learn of your loss.  It came too soon for David...for a man who had such joy in living.  In all the years we've known each other I don't recall Dave's character exhibiting anything but kindness, patience, and generosity . It was too soon that life was shortened by his illness...but thank the Lord that he created us with the joy of remembrances and of those events and times when Dave and you were loving life in spite of the ups and downs that are bound to occur.  So it is with the deepest heartfelt sympathy that Cheryl and I feel for your loss.  We pray that the Lord will give you peace and comfort in the days ahead.

My love & sincere condolences to Pam & kids Wendy & Mark & all the grandkids. I'm sorry I'm not there to be with you. I love Dave. I met him thru prc engineering over 30 years ago & ended up dating, then marrying his nephew (I didn't know it at first). He was my boss then became a friend, mentor & became real family to me. Always happy, doing extraordinary things & having fun is how I'll remember him. We ALL miss him & this world won't be the same. My world won't be the same. I hope to see him again in heaven. My love & prayers are with you all.

Dave was an inspiration to all who served with him on the HOA for El Paseo. He was a great leader and a friend. He will be missed but not forgotten.

I am so honored to have know David and Pam Wood and their family.  David was such an inspiration to me.  He was very instrumental in getting me into the civil engineering field and I hold him very dear in my heart.  I am who I am today because of his mentoring throughout the years I worked with him.  He will certainly be missed.  I am so sorry for your loss.  He will always be in my heart.  God Bless you all.

I was sad to hear of Dave's passing , but I know he is now free of pain, and in a much better place. I only knew Dave for a few years, but as his/Pam's landscaper, he was truly a nice, caring man, who always had made me laugh, and enjoyed his conversations. I will miss him, God Bless him!

Love and prayers to all of Dave's family and friends.  My friendship with Dave goes way, way back and, altho' we haven't face to face enteracted for quite some time, I always consider Dave a good friend.  I know his family will miss him but will have wonderful memories.  Blessing to all of you.

It was an honor to know Dave as a friend neighbor and excellent HOA president. Dave worked tirelessly,even thru illness,to keep our community running so beautifully.

Dave, my uncle-in-law was a great man. He was always a tremendous host when his niece (my wife Trina) and I, and our kids would visit Scottsdale.  He always put others needs ahead of his own. We will miss him....

To all who loved David;
I to loved this gentleman with all my heart believe it I remember many occasions going as far back as 53 years ago with David.....My cherished moment is when I would sneak into his beloved purple chair and sit and wait and grin waiting for him to scoop me out of his chair....Thanks David for your time that you spent with the Biehler family your memory will remain with us until we meet again in heaven. David was the best Grandfather to my children.  He was AWESOME!  He made my life better  I will miss him dearly we will all miss him so much.
