Cheryl ‘Sherry’ Kay Larson Kunkel was born on February 3, 1947 in Dawson, Minnesota to William and Lois Larson. She passed away on February 2, 2022 in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Sherry married Don Kunkel, later divorced. They were blessed with a daughter, Christine. For the past 28 years Sherry has been the loving partner to Dan Benson. Sherry had a bright, beautiful smile and was known for her incredible sense of humor.
Sherry was reunited in heaven with her father Bill Larson, mother Lois Osness Hurley, and daughter Christine Kunkel Thayer. She is survived by her partner Dan Benson and his mother Odile Benson, ‘wicked’ stepmother Gloria Larson, and stepbrother Terry Bakken. Sherry, you are loved and will be missed dearly.
Graveside service will be at 3:00 pm on Friday February 25, 2022 at Green Acres Cemetery in Scottsdale, Arizona.
