Charles E. Collins

Chuck was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 6, 1936.

He received a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Loyola University, and enjoyed a long career teaching middle school science.

Chuck was married to his loving wife, Susan Musial, on August 29, 1964 in Darien, Illinois.

He was a member of the Irish Human Rights Committee, and had a passion for cooking, gardening, reading, and playing classical music.

Chuck is preceded in death by his brother, Tom.

He is survived by his wife, Sue; his children, Genni (Tom), Charlie, Katie (John), and Liz (Eric); his grandchildren, Tim, Ben, Mae, Patrick, Alex, Conor, Caylie, Emily, and Ryan; his great-grandchildren, Brayden, Daniel, and Liam; his siblings, Jack, Carole (Bill), Rod (Debbie), Cathy (Jack), and Barbara; as well as 35 nieces and nephews, and life-long friends, Carol Szwajkowski, Robert Sumsky, Don and Sue Sumsky, Jim McHugh, and Bob and Charlene Kirschbaum.

A graveside service for Chuck will be held Friday, October 13, 2023 at 10:30 AM at Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery, 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85257.
