Brittany Lynn Thompson, was born in Glendale Arizona on November 20th 1987 to Cynthia and Tim Thompson, and entered eternal rest on July 12th 2024 at the age of 36. She lived a life marked by resilience, determination, an unwavering love for her daughter Journee and all animals.
From a young age, Brittany faced numerous challenges that tested her strength and spirit. Despite these struggles, she remained steadfast in her commitment to overcoming them. Her journey was not an easy one, but her courage and perseverance inspired all who knew her.
Brittany’s passion for animals was evident to everyone around her. She dedicated much of her life to their care, finding immense joy and fulfillment in nurturing them. Whether it was rescuing strays, working at pet care, grooming and kenneling businesses, or simply providing a loving home to her own pets, her devotion knew no bounds. Her empathy and compassion for all living creatures were hallmarks of her character.
Her love for animals extended beyond her personal life and became a central part of her identity. She often said that caring for them brought her peace and happiness, and it was through this love that she found her true calling. Her legacy will live on in the countless lives she touched, both human and animal.
Brittany is survived by her daughter, parents, her step mother Debbie Thompson, her step father Dominic Savastano Jr., brothers Nicholas, and his wife Hao, Alexander Thompson and his wife Cambrie, her Aunt Debra Draper, her cousins Shelby Olson and Rylee Soto, and her nephew Caiden along with a host of other family and friends who will forever cherish her memory and the warmth she brought into their lives. Her friends and loved ones will remember her for her kindness, her gentle spirit, and her unwavering dedication to making the world a better place for animals.
A private family memorial service to celebrate Brittany’s life will be held on July 22nd 2024 at Green Acres Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to any animal charity of your choice, as these organization were close to Brittany’s heart, to continue her mission of caring for animals.
Though her time with us was too short, Brittany’s impact was profound. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her spirit and love for animals will continue to inspire us all.
