Roger Lee Lehl Jr.

Roger Lee Lehl Jr., 44, of Scottsbluff, passed away Friday, February 28, 2014, at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff. His memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff with Dr. Charles Bonds officiating. Cremation was held and inurnment will be at a later date in the Alliance Cemetery next to his father. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Roger Lehl Memorial Fund in care of First State Bank of Scottsbluff. Tributes of sympathy may be left at www.dugankramer.com Roger was born November 29, 1969, at Alliance to Roger Lee Sr. and Sharyn (Jordan) Lehl. He grew up in Alliance and graduated from the Alliance High School in 1988. He has lived in Scottsbluff for the past 25 years. He has worked at Cyclone Express in Gering as assistant manager for 15 years and was recently promoted to manager. Survivors include his caregiver and friend, Bill Britthouer of Scottsbluff; son Joseph (Ashley) Lehl of Scottsbluff; two grandchildren; mother, Sharyn (James) Rohm of Greeley, Colorado; siblings, Lauri (Ken) Gray of Rapid City, South Dakota, Kenneth (Cyndi) Lehl of Madras, Oregon, and Jolynne (Daryl) Lehl of Rapid City, South Dakota; grandmother, Alvina Lehl of Alliance; and numerous, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Sr.; uncles, Charles Lehl, and Greg “Jordy” Jordan; and his grandparents.
