John William Ruzicka

John William Ruzicka, 59of Scottsbluff, Nebraska passed away Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Regional West Medical Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Scottsbluff with Father Vincent Parsons officiating. Inurnment will follow at Mitchell Valley Cemetery in Mitchell, Nebraska. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb 14 at Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel. Cremation was held. A memorial has been established to St. Agnes Catholic School. John was born on November 26, 1952 in Ord, Nebraska to William and Patricia (McCarty) Ruzicka. He received his early education at St. Agnes Catholic School and graduated from Scottsbluff High School. He attended St. Thomas Seminary College and graduated in 1975. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Survivors include his sister Peg Nees (Lyle Hart), brothers: Jeff (Robin) Ruzicka, J.P. (Laurie) Ruzicka, Tim (Jodi) Ruzicka, Chris (Melanie) Ruzicka and Kevin Ruzicka; nephews: Bill Ruzicka, Cory Ruzicka, Josh Ruzicka, Ryan Ruzicka, Justin Ruzicka, Jared Ruzicka and Robert Nees; nieces: Kayla Ruzicka, Dani Ruzicka, Shawna Ruzicka, Megan Ruzicka, Sarah Preston and Melissa Ruzicka and three great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
