Paula was a hair stylist and enjoyed telling stories from her early career at Stanley’s Hair Salon in Brockton. She was known for her 1960’s era up-do's but her best work came later while creating bowl cuts, whiffles, and voluminous perms for her children, nieces, nephews and the neighborhood kids.
Paula will be most remembered for the love she had for her children and grandchildren. We will also fondly remember teasing her for her frequently used sayings such as “No suh”, and “Don’t call me Ma”.
She is survived by her daughter Shannon Madden and her husband Andrew of Worthington, son Shane Moore of Plymouth, and son Chuck Moore and his wife Jayme of Marshfield. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Aedan and Anna Madden and Charlie and James Moore, as well as her beloved nieces and nephews. She will be lovingly remembered by her sisters Bette Donahue of Brockton and Barbara Blanchard of Easton, PA. She was predeceased by her husband Charles G. Moore and her brother Kenneth Guillemette.
A visitation will take place on Sunday, January 14 from 10am-1pm with a memorial service at 12:30pm at Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate.
