He was born, raised and graduated in Scituate, Massachusetts, the dear son of Elizabeth (Knight) Madden of Scituate and the late Henry Madden.
He was the proud and devoted father to his daughter Rachel Madden and her boyfriend Andrew; and his son Andrew Madden and his wife Tori.
He was the beloved brother of Alan Madden and wife Marcia, Neal Madden and wife Michelle, and Arleen Bonito and husband Joseph. He was also the loving uncle of several nieces and nephews.
Working in construction his whole life, he was always quite the handy man. He was the first in line to offer help to anyone who needed it and was often everyone’s first call for some advice on any sort of home project. If you needed him, he was there.
He loved early morning rides on his motorcycle, traveling around the world and was always up for a good time with his friends as long as a cold Miller Lite was involved. You could always rely on him to crack a joke and have a quick one-liner on stand-by.
Being a father was the most important to him. His kids were his world and he never missed a game, band practice or dance recital.
Paul fought to the end and his strength and courage will always be admired and remembered.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate. A funeral home service will take place on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at 11:00 A.M.
