Maureen A. Dwyer Milton

Milton-Maureen A. (Dwyer) of Marshfield passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on March 13th, 2011 after a lengthy illness. Maureen was born and raised in S. Weymouth and has been a Marshfield resident for 30 years. She taught preschool at the Steeple School in Marshfield for several years. Maureen was President of the Seaside Garden Club and co-chair of the Special Education Advisory Council, both in Marshfield. She is survived by her partner; Shannon M. Donovan of Marshfield, her father; John Dwyer Sr. of Leesburg, FL, three children; Sara, Kevin and Cory Milton all of Marshfield, five siblings; Kathleen Dwyer of S. Boston, Susan Radin of Hanover, Jacqueline O’Neil of Pembroke, John Dwyer of Norwell and Kevin Dwyer of Abington. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Maureen was predeceased by her mother, Barbara (Faulkner) Dwyer. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, March 16th from 4-8PM at the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Rd, Scituate, a funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 10AM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations in Maureen’s memory may be made to the Cardinal Cushing School, 405 Washington St, Hanover, MA 02339.
