Janet S Brooks

Age 73, of Scituate, passed away March 9, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Clifford and Leta Robinson. Loving wife of 52 years to George Brooks. Beloved mother to Suzanne McDonald, her husband Kenneth of Whitman, Margaret Turner of Everett and Elizabeth Brooks of Brockton. Cherished grandmother to Ken Jr., Erin, Megan, Melissa, Alana, Claire, Ethan and great grandmother to Kaylee, Jason, Liam, Audrey, Austin and Kingsley. She was the loving aunt to Mark, David and Janet.

Janet worked as a realtor for Vin Doyle Realty where she made lasting friendships with “The Girls” who would take annual trips together. She was a member of the Scituate Red Haters. Janet loved her relationship with God and The First Trinitarian Congregational church where she helped serve the Senior luncheon.

Most of all Janet had an overwhelming sense of family and a love for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She never met a stranger and was always ready to help someone in need.

A visitation will take place on Wednesday March 14 from 11am-12pm at Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate followed by a service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 12pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Lung Association. Words of com
