Cynthia A. Walker

Born in Somerville, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ann (Staudinger) Watts. Cynthia was a 1971 Scituate High School graduate. She then moved on to join the Army where she served as a medical specialist. After discharge, she settled down to start her family and work at Cardigan Nursing Home for 33 years. Above all, she enjoyed spending her time with family and friends.

She was the devoted mother of Patricia Baker and her husband Mark of Middleborough, Massachusetts.

Cherished grandmother of Shawn Perkins of Middleborough, Massachusetts.

Loving sister to James Watts and his wife Karla of Cohasset, Massachusetts; Steven Watts and his wife Betty of Jacksonville, Florida; Ann Marie Mills and her husband Tom of Taunton, Massachusetts; Patricia Lenahan and her husband Tim of Bourne, Massachusetts. Predeceased by Judith Figueiredo and surviving spouse James of Cohasset, Massachusetts; and Susan Benci and her husband Don of Strongsville, Ohio.

Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation Thursday, December 15, 2022 from 4-8 pm. Funeral home service will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022 at 10 am at Richardson Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate, Massachusetts. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Meeting House Lane, Scituate, Massachusetts.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Cynthia’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Scituate Animal Shelter.
