REGINA SUE MITCHELL (NEE BAKER) BLACK OAK, IN Regina Sue Mitchell (nee Baker), age 61, of Black Oak, passed away Friday, July 13, 2012. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Elmo "Gary" Mitchell; two daughters: Stephanie Sertic and Kim Masterson; son, Paul Zigler; ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brother, Randy Baker; four sisters: Mary Minski, Helen Haynes, Wanda Swanto and Rhonda Baker; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Ave., (one-half mile south of US 30) Schererville, IN with Rev. Robert Parnell officiating. Interment to follow at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family Monday, July 16, 2012 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. Mrs. Mitchell attended Black Oak Baptist Church and was an O.T.R Truck Driver for 16 years. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, loved animals and was extremely patriotic.
