Mary K. Moyer

Mary K. Moyer, 93 of Newmanstown, passed away at home on Friday, March 24, 2023. She was born in Newmanstown on July 11, 1929, a daughter of the late Roy L. and Grace K. (Royer) Erb. Mary was the wife of the late John R. Moyer who passed away May 17, 2008, and preceded in death by her son Kevin G. Moyer who passed away on August 16, 2009. Mrs. Moyer was a Registered Nurse, a 1950 graduate of the Reading Hospital School of Nursing. She was an avid card player, loved gardening, flowers and birds, an active member of Farm Women’s group and a long-term member of Millcreek Lutheran Church and their choir. Surviving are her children: John R. Moyer (Linda K.) of Newmanstown; Donald C. Moyer (Kim M.) of Hill, N.H., Carol A. Klick (Wayne) of Jonestown, and daughter in law: Linda K. Moyer of Womelsdorf; grandchildren: Dana, Daniel, Jonelle, Cameron, Arthur, Shannon, Tiffany, Nathan, Erik, Erin, Zane, Roya, and Isaac; sixteen great grandchildren, and nieces: Kathy Zeller and Ann Larrick. A memorial service will be held in the Millcreek Lutheran Church 221 N. Sheridan Rd, Newmanstown, PA, 17073 on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at 9:00AM. Light refreshments will be available at the church from 10 am to 11:30am, interment will be in Millbach Community Cemetery.
