William G. Nagle Jr, a long time resident of White Plains, NY, passed away after a short illness on Wednesday September 21, 2011. He was born on April 30, 1951 in Bronxville, NY. He was the son of the late William G. Nagle and Mary Jane (Lowe) Nagle. He grew up in Scarsdale, NY. He graduated from Trinity-Pawling School and Curry College. Bill worked as a credit analyst at Union Carbide in Danbury, CT. He was then employed as an order processing specialist for OCR Data Systems, Inc. Later, Bill worked at Sprague/Rad Energy Corp before his retirement. He was a member of the Hitchcock Presbyterian Church. Bill served on the board of Tibbetts Condo Association in White Plains. He was an active member of the Brain Aneurysm Foundation.
Bill’s interests ranged from the front page of the newspaper to the comics. He was an avid coin collector. He was interested in sports, the continuing development of White Plains as well as the history of the Tudors of England and the family problems of the Austrian Hapsburgs.
Bill is survived by his brothers Don and his wife Cindy of Glen Rock, NJ, Jim and his wife Beth of New Canaan, CT and his sister Barbara and her husband Bill of Manchester Center, VT. He was a devoted uncle to his nieces and nephews Chris Nagle, Tess Nagle, Grace Nagle, Sarah Nagle, Emma Scott, Weston Muench and Taylor Muench. He was loved by all for his positive outlook and sense of humor. He loved to write of his experiences and tell memorable stories about his childhood. He was a kind person who touched all those who knew him.
