She is survived by husband Patrick, to whom she was married for 45 years; children Kiara (Mark) and Darren (Tara), grandchildren Hadley, Cameron and Sean, and brothers PJ, Brendan and Sean.
Maureen was born in Ballaghaderreen, County Roscommon, Ireland. She attended St. Nathy’s College in Roscommon. She became a Registered Nurse, graduating from Sir Patrick Dun’s Hospital Dublin, Ireland. She worked in Dublin and New York Hospitals in the ER, OR, and primary care.
The funeral service will be held at 10am on November 30th, 2019 at The Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Scarsdale, NY. Visitation will be held from 6pm – 8pm on November 29th, 2019 at Edwin L Bennett Funeral Home in Scarsdale, NY.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to The Parkinson’s Foundation in her name, Maureen Coen.
