Linda M. Allison

Linda Marie Allison was born on February 18, 1941 in Mount Vernon, New York to James and Katherine DiMauro. She graduated from AB Davis High School and what is now Berkley College. Linda married Philip Allison on April 21, 1963 and lived most of her life in Tuckahoe, New York, until recently when the couple purchased a retirement home in Charlestown, Rhode Island. Throughout her career Linda worked in law firms, most recently as a paralegal at Griffin, Coogan and Veneruso in Bronxville until her retirement in 2006. Linda was an involved parent and community member, she served as the president of the PTA and as a religious teacher at the Immaculate Conception parish in Eastchester.

Linda is survived by Philip - her husband of 56 years, her three children; Nick and his wife Chari, Phyllis and her husband Anthony Cesarini, and her daughter Lori. Linda is also survived by her nine beloved grandchildren; Alex, AJ, Michael, Sydney, Nicky, Katie, Olivia, Julian and Lily. Linda leaves behind two loving sisters Elvira and Kathy. Linda will be missed, but will always be remembered laughing and playing scrabble on the beach, the place she loved most.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Alzheimer's Association.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday October 16, 2019 at the Edwin L. Bennett Funeral Homes 824 Scarsdale Ave Scarsdale NY 10583 from 3-8PM. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday October 17, 2019 9:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Church Tuckahoe NY.
