On March 31, 2023, Frank T. Geysen, Jr. died peacefully at home with his loving wife of 55 years, Nancy at his side. He was predeceased by his father, Frank T. Geysen and his mother, Winifred C. Geysen, his sister, Winifred Gauther, his Aunt Margaret Waldron, his niece, Jeanne Marie O’Conner and his nephew, Robert Gauthier. He is survived by his brother, Thomas Geysen (Peggy), sister, Nancy Powers (William), his Aunt Veronica Castelli. He is also survived by his sisters and brothers-in law and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. At the age of 18, he joined the US Air Force and served for 4 years. He retired from the NYPD as a lieutenant after serving for 37 years. He was proud of his service to the city of New York and was respected by his colleagues. He served in the US Army Reserves as Chief Warrant Officer and was proud of his service to his country. After retirement, he was active in the American Legion Post 52 Scarsdale and active in his church, Our Lady of Fatima. He made many lifetime friends skiing with the “Mogul Meisters”, golfing with his buddies at the Dunwoodie Golf course and the Lake Isle Country Club and bowling with the “Hits and Misses”. Every Monday he met his fellow “ROMEOS (Retired Old Men Eating Out) at Sam’s Restaurant in Dobbs Ferry, New York. He loved to travel with his wife, Nancy and together enjoyed over 20 cruises. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. sorely missed by all who knew him. A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday April 11, 2023 at the funeral home from 4-7PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday April 12, 2023 10:30AM at Our Lady of Fatima Church Scarsdale.
