Suddenly, at Providence Healthcare on Thursday, December 16th, 2021, Douglas, beloved husband and widower of Marion. Loving father of Brad and Carolyn. Proud grandfather to Ashley, Douglas Jr., Abigail and Victoria. Great-grandfather to Alyssa and Kathleen. A World War II army veteran who served his country with honour and distinction and made his family proud. A private family service will be held at Paul O’Connor Funeral Home which will be followed by a private interment at Pine Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
