BURNS, Douglas - Passed away peacefully at Toronto on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at the age of 96. Dad was extremely loving, kind and strong and was the beloved son of the late Louis and Agnes (nee Foley) and cherished husband of the late Bertille (nee MacKenzie). He was the loving and devoted father of Brenda (nee Murray), Deborah (nee Hare) and Doug Jr. and the best grandfather to Scott, Lindsey, David, Theresa and Mark. He was also a wonderful great grandfather to Anthony, Emma and Brody. Dad will be very sadly missed by all of us including his extended family and friends. Dad and mom will be in our hearts and minds forever. May God bless them both.
