Teddie Alvin Moore

Teddie A. Moore, 69, of Savannah, passed away suddenly on Saturday May 10, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was preceded in death by a son, Ted Ashley Moore and his parents, Edward and Janie Water Moore.

Teddie was born and raised in Savannah and was a graduate of Robert Groves High School, Class of 1963. He was retired manager for Carlson-Wagonlit Travel. He was a member of Savannah Christian Church. Teddie was an avid sports fan and loved to work in his yard. He was all about family, very family oriented. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. Teddie died doing what he loved, working in his yard.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Patsy Townsend Moore of Savannah; a son, Jeffrey A. Moore, (Tess); his twin brother, Eddie Moore, (Cathy) six grandchildren, Kevin, Dakota, Deni, TeraLynn, Shane, and Sean; one great-grand daughter, Ashley Grace, several nieces and nephews and cousins.

Visitation: 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. Friday, May 16, 2014 at Fairhaven Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel.

Funeral Service: 11:00a.m. Saturday, May 17, 2014 in the Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jeff Sanders officiating. Burial will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memory Garden.
