Marjorie Helen Harrod Cubbedge

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn “Bill” Cubbedge, her parents, Walker Harrod and Kate I. Pierson Harrod.

She was born and raised here in Savannah, and she returned to Savannah in 1986.

She was a supplier for Colmar Textile Industries, and Bessemer City, NC for many years.

She attended First Christian Church in Savannah, and also attended Tusculum Christian Church in Tusculum, Ga. She was a loving, wife, mother and friend.

She is survived by a son, Rev. Gary Cubbedge, of Port Wentworth, Ga; and a daughter, Robin Forbes of Savannah, Ga.

Visitation: 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Fairhaven Funeral Home – Hubert C. Baker Chapel.

Funeral Services: 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Hubert C. Baker Chapel, with Rev. Gary Cubbedge, officiating.

Interment: Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
