Carolyn Beasley Beasley Grissett

Carolyn Beasley Grissett, 62, of Savannah, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Patty and Mary White Beasley; two granddaughters, Miranda and Brittani Grissett; brother, Patty Beasley, and a sister in law, Susan Beasley.

Carolyn was born and raised in Savannah and was a graduate of Hershel V. Jenkins High School. She was retired after many years of service in sales from Beasley and Carlson/Savannah Communications. She was of the Baptist Faith.

Carolyn was a homebody and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother and sister. Carolyn had such a loving nature that she would give you the shirt of her back or the last dollar in her pocket. Everybody loved Carolyn.

She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Sewell Grissett; a daughter, Angel G. O’Neal (Ryan) of Register, GA.; a son, Christopher Beasley Grissett (Stephanie) of Savannah, GA; a brother, Mark Ashley Beasley of Ellabell, GA; a sister. Deborah Cail of North Carolina; ten grandchildren, Mitchell, Logan and Marissa Grissett, Christian and Cody Johnson, Tyler Kicklighter, Christopher, Brandon, Jordan and Tristian O’Neal; two great-granddaughters, Paisleigh Grissett and Skyler O’Neal, several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6p.m. – 8p.m. Tuesday September 9th, 2014 at Fairhaven Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel.

Funeral Service 1:30p.m., Wednesday, September 10, 2014 in the Chapel of the Funeral Home with Rev. Jonathan Phillips officiating.

Burial to follow the service at Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
