Linda was a selfless person; she would always put other people's needs before her own. Linda was generous and kind, giving made her happy. It was the fuel to her soul. If you needed anything from a ride, a place to stay or even just someone to listen while you talked, she was there. In her earlier life Linda spent most of her days at Moore's Point. She got a job at A&W where she worked for 17 years as the carhop with long skinny legs on roller skates. Linda had many friends in her life, she especially loved the late Leeann Guzzo, who she's finally reunited with after many years. In her later life Linda spent her time watching true crime documentaries with a coffee and a smoke, with a pet by her side. She loved all animals, and they loved her. When she did go out, she enjoyed the casino. Although her luck was not the greatest it never stopped her from enjoying herself, money comes and goes she would say so just go have a good time, which she did. She had lots of friends she would spend time with and who will miss her dearly Beverly Francis, Tammy Francis, Darlene Dunn, Jackie Hince, Evelyn Lane, Gloria McMillan and Jean Edwards. It's not goodbye, it's until we meet again.
As per Linda's wishes, no funeral will take place. A celebration of life will be held Sunday January 14, 2024, at 875 Allen's Side Road from 12-3pm. Cremation has taken place. One night I had a dream. I was walking along the beach with the Lord
and across the sky flashed scenes from my life. In each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints
in the sand, one belonged to me, and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of my
life flashed before me, I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
I noticed that many times along the path of my life there was only
one set of footprints. I also noticed that it happened at the worst times in my life.
This really bothered me and I questioned the LORD about it.
"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow you, you would walk with me all the way.
But I've noticed that during times of trouble there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why, when I needed you most, you would leave me."
The LORD replied,
"My precious, precious child, I love you and I would never, never leave you during your times of trial and suffering. When you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."
