McLEOD, Grant Amos – Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 in his 78th year. Loving husband of Jean (nee Hubbard) for 55 years. Cherished father of Nanci (late Eric), Grant Jr. “Bear” (Faye), and Greg (Special friend Barbie). Beloved papa of Marty (Julie), Sammi-Jo (Kyle), Dustin (Gen), Dylen (Annie), Erica (Kyle), Connor (Meagan), Sidnee and Bailey. Great Grandfather of 7. Son of the late Frank McLeod and the late Pearl Roberts. Son-in-law of the late Nelson Hubbard and the late Mary. Dear brother of Bobby (Marleen) Frankie (Jean), Mary Walsh (late Cliff), Barbara Gignac (late Emile), David, Billy Still, Diane Still, late Joseph Roberts and special brother John Roberts (Ann Marie). Brother-in-law of Pat Hubbard (late Carole), late Carolyn Thibodeau (late Jerry), Cathy McEwan (late Tom), Joyce Leclair (late Frank), Marleen McLeod (Bobby), Erlene Wudkevich, Wayne Hubbard (Laurie), and Jimmy Hubbard. Grant will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Special friends Sam Vresk, Reno Pettenuzzo, Glen Wasyliniuk and the late Danny Vresk. He was avidly involved in fastball for many years and was known to many as the “King”. Friends and family are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Saturday, December 17, 2016 from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm. Funeral service will follow in the chapel at 2 pm.
