I am sorry for your loss. I have many memories hanging out at the Sanderson home as a childhood friend of Eric. His love for his backyard gardens and the smell of fresh homemade bread is what I remember most about Gordon. RIP

We are sorry to learn that Gordon has left us and moved up to the happy place. He was a very fine accomplished gentleman who always had time for his friends. We will surely miss him.

I have known Gord and the family most of my life and their home was like a second home to me.  Gord was always kind, thoughtful, smiling, and liked a good laugh. He had an amazing knowledge of plants and an incredible garden. I love this photo of him sitting in his backyard, looking over his beautiful garden and enjoying the fruits of his labour. So sorry for the loss of Gord. He was always family to me as I was growing up as he was great friends with my brother John and later married Willy my cousin who lived with my brother Peter when she came to Canada.I even had the pleasure of being part of Gord and Willy's wedding party. He always showed great kindness towards my children when he visited when my children were young and stayed with Willy at our home. My son Cameron fondly called him George when he was little and Gord was always took the time to play a board game or two with him. May you rest in peace Gord.
