REID, Elizabeth Joyce – It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Elizabeth Joyce Reid (Beals), at the age of 85 on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 with her family by her side. Predeceased by her parents John and Madeline Beals and brother John Beals (Claudia). She will be forever missed by her children Lynda McFarling (Gary), Maureen McGillivray, Pat Sheppard (late Dave), and Danny Reid (Val). Cherished Grandmother of Sean McFarling (Krista), Jason McFarling (Keri), Shannon McGillivray, Laurie McGillivray, Ian Reid (Jen), Matthew Reid (Crystal), and Dylan Reid. Great Grandmother of Mazy and Cormac McFarling, Logan, Abby Lynn and Hunter McFarling, Madison and Kailem Reid, Savanna, Tianna and Tyson Reid, and Douglas McGillivray. Sister of Alice Storey (late Sunny) and Ted Beals. Loving aunt of Chris Storey (Judy), Chuck Storey (Debbie), Peggy Inkster (Bruce), Michael Storey (Linda) and John Beals (Tanya). A special thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Sault Area Hospital 3C especially Tammy, Pat, Lindsay and Kaylee. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 1 pm at St. Mark’s Anglican Church (238 Highway 17 North, Aweres Township). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or ARCH would be greatly appreciated.
