Reunited with his beloved wife Ada Pipoli (nee Adorante). He leaves behind four children, Patrick, Ralph (Barbara), Norman and Sylvia and his grandchildren. Predeceased by his son David. Dear brother of Florence Tunzi (Vitto) of Windsor, ON and Geneva (Jaime) MacWilliam (Fred) of Sault Ste. Marie, ON and predeceased by siblings Lena Pattendan (late Maurice), Anna Zahn (late Martin), Nick (Isabel) and Max.
Douglas worked 33 years in the Sinter Plant at Algoma Steel. He enjoyed family get togethers, music, dancing, outdoors and Greyhound Hockey games. Douglas was a man who was often misunderstood. His sister Geneva was always there to help out. Douglas was a good caring man and will be missed.
