Betty had a long life interest in figure skating and power skating from teaching to following the Canadian and world competitors. In her early years, Betty loved the outdoors, camping, fishing and listening for the loons on the lake. Betty had a spirit of kindness and generosity. She would share her homemade fudge, tole painting and various crafts with others.
When she resided in the FJ Davey Home, she had enthusiasm for listening to music, dancing and singing. It was a source of comfort and joy to her. She particularly liked Elvis Presley gospel music. Harry Belafonte was a favorite singer of hers. Special thank you to the staff at the FJ Davey Home for the exceptional love and care they gave to our mother.
Her deep faith was a source of comfort and strength to her. Betty had a fiery, passionate personality and sweet gentleness. She will be lovingly remembered and missed.
We love you Mom. We love you more…ther!
