BISHOP, Beatrice Evelyn – Passed away peacefully at ARCH on Saturday, July 20, 2013 Evelyn (nee Sawdon) in her 101st year. Beloved wife and life partner of the late Robert Cyril Bishop of St. Joseph Island. Loving mother of Harold (Brenda) and Beverley McLean (Dan). Loving grandmother of Greg McLean (Connie), Robert Bishop, Catherine Schryer (Jason), Brian Houle (Angela) and Michael Houle (Sarah). Great grandmother of Erica and Kylie Schryer, Brennen Bishop, William and Amy McLean, Lucas and Zachary Houle. Evelyn was the last surviving child of John and Ada Sawdon. Born in Orbindale, Alberta 1913. Predeceased by her siblings Livinia Harper (late Seymour), Elva Thaxter (late Ross), Arthur Sawdon (late Hilda), Hazel Watts (late Stan), Frank, Edith and Jessie. Sister-in-law of Mary Pritchard (late Harvey) and predeceased by; Margaret Morton (late Alvin), Irene Eddy (late Russell), Roy Bishop (late Frances), Florence Cain (late Lloyd), Alice Trainor (late Ken) and Lawrence Bishop. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews from the Bishop and Sawdon descendants. Friends may call at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church (Jocelyn Township, St. Joseph Island) on Thursday, July 25, 2013 from 10:30 am until time of funeral service in the church at 12 noon. Interment Holy Trinity Cemetery. Following the service there will be a potluck lunch at the Bishop Cottage, 733 Lakeside Drive, St. Joseph Island. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Parish of St. Joseph- St. George or to ARCH would be greatly appreciated.
