Born in Ogema, Saskatchewan to John S. and Helen Bevan.
He is predeceased by his father John S., mother Helen, sister Carole, brother Ingram and brother-in-law Delno. He is survived by his wife Dolores, son Allan, daughter Pam (Chad), granddaughters Morgan and Jennifer, his sisters Elaine and Dianne, and sister-in-law Viola.
Gary grew up in Regina and attended Central Collegiate and the University of Regina. He met his wife Dolores and eventually moved to Saskatoon, where he would start Northland Stationers. He truly loved running the business and made many lifelong friends. His other pride and joys were his children and granddaughters, who he talked about all the time to anyone who would listen.
