Terry passed away peacefully at St. Paul’s Hospital at the age of 72. He is survived by his wife and best friend Betty; children Erin Payne, Shannon (Brett) Bailey and Sharon (Darryl) Balzer; the mother of his children Joan Payne; 8 grandchildren; sister Donna (Wayne) Thiessen; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Terry (in 1980) and his mother Lily (in 1985). Terry worked as an accountant at the University of Saskatchewan for 31 years before retiring on July 1, 2001. Terry enjoyed walks at the Saskatoon Forestry Farm and Zoo, golfing, curling (national level), attending the grandchildren’s events and holidays at Waskesiu. At Terry’s request, a Private Family Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation – Palliative Care Unit.
