Ron was predeceased by his mother and father, Helen and Murray Blain, and brother-in-law, Doug Kelman. Ron is survived by his loving wife, Valerie of 49 years, his daughters Caralee (Ryan) Jillian (Chris), his grandchildren Lucas, Claire and Connor and his sister, Pat Kelman.
Ron enjoyed his career as a salesperson, which gave him the opportunity to travel throughout Saskatchewan developing many friendships along the way. Ron moved to Pike Lake at an early age and moved back to Saskatoon when he married Valerie to raise his two daughters. Upon retirement, they moved back to Pike Lake, the area that he loved and knew so well. He was an avid Blue Jays and Rider fan, loved hunting and drives in the country especially the area surrounding Pike Lake. A golden retriever was always by his side.
