Michelle "Mickie" Helen Cole

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Michelle “Mickie” Cole on December 8, 2024, at the age of 73. Born on August 28, 1951, in Hamilton, Ontario, to Stanley and Marjorie Waddington. Mickie was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Mickie is remembered by her son Pat (Michelle) O’Brian and her grandchildren, Aidan, Caelan, and Alisha; her daughter, Jenn O’Brian; her sister, Judy Waddington; her brother, Stephen (Julie) Waddington; her dear friend, Pat Bell; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mickie’s warmth and kindness left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.

She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Ken Cole; her parents, Stanley and Marjorie; her sisters, Danella and Denise; and her brother, Jim.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff and residents of Oliver Lodge, where Mickie made her home for the past four years. She was surrounded by care, compassion, and many dear friends during her time there, which brought her comfort and joy.

Mickie will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her love for her family, and the countless ways she enriched the lives of those around her. She will be deeply missed.

Honouring Mickie’s wishes, there will be no formal service. A private inurnrment will take place at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Mourning Glory Funeral Services.
