Mary Ann Whiting

She will be remembered by her sister, Lorie Reschny; nephews Simon (Kathleen) Reschny, Les (Mary) Reschny, Shaun Reschny (Sharla Kondra); great-nephews/nieces Cameron Kautzman (Tracy Podborochynski), Jason (Tami) Kautzman, Kimberly (Justin) Scott, Eli and Evelyn Reschny, Grayson and Nickson Reschny and great-great-nieces/nephew Rachel and Emily Scott, Ella and Owen Kautzman.

She was predeceased by her brother Eric in 1995; father Ross in 2008 and mother Edith in 2016.

Mary Ann made many special friends during her time living at Poplar House in Waldheim, SK. For over 35 years, she and her housemates worked together at Menno Industries where Mary Ann painted road stakes and toys. She then moved to Stensrud Lodge where yet again she quickly drew in friends with her approachability and her kind heart. Mary Ann’s smile and joyous personality will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Mary Ann’s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 4 at Mourning Glory - Acadia McKague’s Funeral Chapel (915 Acadia Dr, Saskatoon). Those unable to attend please visit https://www.faithproductions.ca/livestream . Interment will take place at the Hawkeye Cemetery at a later date.
