Lorne was born December 8, 1944, on Moosewoods Reserve. He married the love of his life on January 10, 1969.He raised 8 children, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. After raising his children, he also raised some grandchildren: Lakota, Lynden, Leland, Lincoln and Denasia. He always thought of others before himself, making sure everyone in his household had what they needed. He had a green thumb and enjoyed planting his gardens and trees and making baskets.
Lorne is predeceased by his wife Marilyn and 7 children. He leaves to mourn his children Lawrence, Roberta (Peter), and Elliot; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and 2 sisters.
Lorne’s Wake will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 14, 2024 and his Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 15, 2024. Both services will be held at Charles Red Hawk Elementary School in Whitecap, Saskatchewan.
