The passing of Loella Leavesley occurred Wednesday June 30, 2010 at the age of 83 years. Surviving are her son David Grambo and his wife Roxanne of Saskatoon, their three sons; Mark ( Angie) and their daughter Elizabeth of Regina; Andrew (Natasha) and their children Andie and Eli of Bonnyville AB. and Kris of Saskatoon. She is also survived by a sister Dorothy Kay of Edmonton. She was predeceased by her husband Lyle Grambo in 1960 and her husband Maurice Leavesley in 1994, her son Douglas Grambo in 2004 and her brother Lawrence Duff in 1992. Loella, Duffy, as she was known for many years, grew up in Bengough SK, residing in Meadow Lake, North Battleford, and Swift Current prior to making Saskatoon Home some five years ago. She will be remembered for her volunteer work in both the Palliser Long Term Care facility in Swift Current and the Luther Special Care Home in Saskatoon. She found great comfort in assisting those in a debilitated situation in their lives.
A Celebration of her Life will take place at Acadia- McKague’s Funeral Centre, Friday, July 9, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Greg Fowlie-Neufeld presiding. Interment of her cremated remains will take place in Swift Current with Maurice, at a later date. Condolences may be sent through the acadiamckaguesfuneralcentre.com website.
