Kristina Elizabeth Penner

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our daughter, sister and partner Kristina Elizabeth Penner on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at the age of 48 at Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon.

Kristy struggled with her illness for many years but her passing was still unexpected. Kristy was born and lived most of her life in Saskatoon and attended the University of Saskatchewan where she studied Sociology. From a very early age, Kristy's greatest passion was reading and that never waned. She also had many pets that she loved and enjoyed spending time with. Kristy was determined to live her life to the fullest and as a result strived to overcome her obstacles and continue to grow. Her intelligence, resilience and compassion affected many people worldwide.

Kristy met the love of her life, Ian in 2007 and they had many wonderful years together. She will be greatly missed.

Kristy is survived by her partner Ian, parents Larry and Betty Penner, her sister Melanie (Dwayne). She was predeceased by her brother Tyler.

The Celebration of Life will take place at 1:00pm on Friday, February 2, 2024 at Mourning Glory Acadia McKague’s Funeral Chapel (915 Acadia Drive, Saskatoon) followed by a luncheon. For those unable to attend please visit https://youtube.com/live/ZJtAt9yYQP8?feature=share to view the service.
