We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Judy Latimer on May 27, 2020 at the age of 74, with her loving husband Raymond and son Tim by her side. Judy was born in Dodsland, Saskatchewan on September 2, 1945 to parents Louis and Rose Ramnes. After her birth, the family relocated to Saskatoon. Judy was the much-loved middle sister of Vera and Jeanette. She shared a loving bond with her family and enjoyed the special times spent together. Summer holidays at Cochin Lake, swimming at Riversdale Pool, attending the annual Saskatoon Exhibition and visits with relatives were especially memorable. Judy was quiet, gentle and caring. Judy attended Westmount School and City Park Collegiate. Upon completion of her schooling, she worked in the service industry. She was a valued employee, always striving to do her best. During this time, she met her future husband, Raymond. Judy and Ray were married on July 4, 1976 and began their married life in Borden. Family was of the utmost importance to her. Judy was a devoted mother to Christopher, born in 1977 and Timothy, born in 1982. Becoming a grandmother to Chris’ sons, Colby and Parker, brought Judy immense joy and happiness. Every moment spent with her grandchildren was treasured. She loved being a mom and grandma, and was so very proud of her family. Judy was a kind, lovable and soft-spoken person but if Ray or the boys got into mischief, she was sure to let them know who the boss was. Judy loved camping. She loved quiet times of reflection around the fire, laughing and talking with her grandchildren and just being out in nature. It was always a challenge to see who caught the biggest or the most fish. For some reason Judy always seem to catch the biggest ones. She loved being at home and making sure everything was in its place. Judy loved auctions and garage sales and had a fine collection of antiques and collectables. She spent her spare time gardening and working in the greenhouse alongside Raymond. She loved showing it off to friends that came to visit. Shopping was one of her most favourite things to do. She loved buying purses and outfits and gifts for her grandchildren. She was so proud to spoil them. Judy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Judy was predeceased by her parents, Louis in 1974 and Rose in 1990, her brother-in-law Gordon in 2018 and her youngest sister Jeanette in 2020. Left to cherish her memory is her husband Raymond of almost 44 years, son Chris and his children Colby and Parker, son Tim, sister Vera Robertson as well as her nieces and nephews.
