The family of Woody is so very sad to announce his passing on March 24, 2024 after many years struggling with COPD. Woody’s health had deteriorated during the past year and he departed peacefully in his sleep, leaving a huge hole in the hearts of everyone who loved him. Woody is survived by his spouse, Lynne Davidson; his children, Melanie (Mike) Baerwaldt, Jamie (Casey) Schumacher, Andrew (Sharah) Busby; his grandkids, Matt, Torrin, Tave, Brock, Avery and Drew; his siblings, Murray (Armande), Neil (Diane), Alvin, Suz (Bill) Laing and sister-in-law Brenda. Also surviving are Lynne’s son, Devin (Stacy); siblings, Denny (Sharon), Barry (Peggy), Janice (Brad), Dale (Anne), Donna and extended family members. Woody also had many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Howard and Frances; his brother Keith and sister-in-law Susie. He definitely didn’t want a funeral. Everyone who knew him can hear him saying that with emphasis! But please raise a glass to toast Woody’s memory.
