He leaves behind Fran, his wife of 55 years; daughter Sandy; grandchildren Joel, Maisie, and Maddie; son James (Kami); grandchildren Sophia and Elizabeth; and his sister Carolyn (Roy) Andreas; their children Trent and Cora; and numerous cousins, in-laws, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents and brothers Jack and Rick.
He will be greatly missed, forever loved, and always remembered by his family.
Doug volunteered his time and talents to many organizations.
His grandchildren were very special to him. He always made time for them and loved them very much.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Patrick’s Parish (3339 Centennial Drive Saskatoon) on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.
Memorial donations may be made to Glengarda Hospice (301 Hilliard Street East, Saskatoon, SK S7J 0E5). Their excellent care in Doug’s final days was exemplary and very comforting.
